In SIPKIS I the development of a generic concept for individualised
advisories in the financial services sector and the implementation of a
prototype for individualised retirement advisories was focussed.
Furthermore, lots of the results were transferred successfully into
Main topics of SIPKIS II are on the one hand the scientifically funding of
single steps within the generic concept for individualised advisories and
the cooperation with financial services providers. In this context the
following aspects are considered:
It is analysed, how situations and roles, that are relevant for an
individualised advisory, can be categorized, which effect they have on the
advisory and how they should be integrated into the concept for
Additionally the identification of efficient portfolios in a
multi-objective decision situation is focussed. For this purpose a
heuristic based on evolutionary algorithms is to be developed.
The next step within an advisory process - the selection of customer
individual portfolios - is also part of the further research. In this
context a utility function is to be identified by axiomatic
characterisation, which is applicable for the selection.
Apart from single steps within the concept for individualised advisories
further questions are treated, which consider important related aspects
like legal regulations, taxes and social capital.
